This is a computer version of the classic and popular puzzle from the 80’s, the Rubik’s Cube or Magic Cube. It is a small flash game offered by Novel Games that can be downloaded for free from their website. The game features the traditional 3x3x3 cube: each of its six faces consists of one single color, in turn, each face is split up into 9 smaller blocks. The objective is to rearrange these blocks so that each face has one single color again. In spite of the simplicity of the concept, solving this game is extremely hard and can literally take hours. For that reason, on Novel Games’s website you will find a very helpful section providing tips and detailed formulas that can help you solve the game. The interface is very attractive, and handling the cube presents no complications; you can turn and twist rows and columns, as well as rotate the whole cube simply by dragging your mouse over it and clicking on the arrows. There is a timer, and also a counter that will control the number of moves to calculate your final score.
The game is very small (about 800KB), and like all the games from the mentioned developer, it is ad-supported so you will see some banners after you finish playing.
